ARTHAUS

Welcome to Arthaus

Built by visionaries, for visionaries.

It started with a vision. To create a private, lush sanctuary in the heart of the cultural and arts mecca of Center City. A home for the enlightened. Those who are both patrons of the arts and connoisseurs of architecture. Arthaus is the realization of that vision.

Set aptly on the Avenue of the Arts, this 47-story masterpiece is steps from the Kimmel Center and a short walk from hundreds of Philadelphia’s most fashionable shops and finest restaurants – proof that whatever one can imagine, one can make real.

Wake up inside a work of art. Step outside into the arts.

Gazing up at Arthaus, you are struck by this monumental tour de force, adorning the Philadelphia skyline like a sculpture of glass and concrete.

The name Arthaus was inspired by the Bauhaus movement – a period of architecture and design whose most basic tenet was that form should follow function. Excess was replaced by beauty that could also meet the needs and desires of real people. One example: The building’s tiered “bundled box” design is not only aesthetically pleasing, but it gives every unit its own corner, with two full exterior walls of breathtaking views.

Arthaus isn’t just about surrounding yourself in the beauty of your own haus; it’s about having instant access to a vast gallery of curated amenities, outdoor green spaces and unparalleled experiences. It’s about living among a vibrant community of art patrons and artists. And, it’s about being an integral part of Philadelphia’s art scene.

The Minds Behind the Masterpiece

Developer

Carl E. Dranoff

Arthaus was conceived by developer Carl E. Dranoff, founder and CEO of Dranoff Properties, Inc. For connoisseurs of architecture, the name represents integrity, sophistication, ingenuity — and an attention to detail that is literally transforming the city of Philadelphia. A major force in urban rejuvenation for more than four decades, Dranoff is the leading authority on luxury condominiums throughout the region.

Architect

Eugene Kohn

Patrons of fine art know to look for the signature. This one belongs to Eugene Kohn, a Philadelphia native who has become one of the world’s most recognized and acclaimed architects. His portfolio spans more than 40 countries. He’s the man behind the expansion of New York City’s Museum of Modern Art. In Philadelphia, his portfolio includes the University of Pennsylvania, the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Four Seasons. And his company, KPF, has won AIA’s National Chapter Honor Award for Architecture nine times.

Dranoff Properties

At Dranoff, there is no action unless there is a vision - one that embraces what others sometimes deem impossible. It’s about being bold enough to trust our instincts when it comes to truly transforming a community. Being an agent of change and reimagining urban neighborhoods takes persistence and perception. We’re proud of our track record of not just identifying opportunities, but also creating them.

Kohn Pedersen Fox

Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF), a global architecture practice, is dedicated to a core group of clients that represent the most forward-thinking developers, corporations, and institutions in cities around the world. Driven by individual design solutions – rather than a predetermined style – KPF’s mission is to create buildings and places of the utmost quality and contextual sensitivity, providing a valuable impact on the cities they inhabit.

A home as stylish as you are.

The moment you set foot inside your new haus, you’ll know you’ve arrived. The high ceilings and big windows flood the interiors with natural light. The wide-plank oak flooring leads you to a private eight-foot-deep terrace, where you can picture yourself hosting an elegant dinner party or just sitting with a cup of coffee and a stunning view of the sunrise.

Inside, you’ll find everything you’ve ever desired. High ceilings, a chef’s kitchen, five-fixture master bathroom, walk-in closets — all giving you the one feeling you’ve really been searching for: You’re home.

Where visionaries wake up to limitless views.

Imagine waking up on one of the most incredible perches in all of Philadelphia, overlooking one of the most celebrated urban arts neighborhoods in the country. Your haus will wrap around a corner of the building, affording you the most breathtaking panoramic views. You’ll gaze out on the city from your oversized balcony complete with wind screen. Floor-to-ceiling windows will offer unforgettable views of the Avenue of the Arts, Philadelphia skyline, bridges, waterfronts, church spires, and beyond.

New beginnings, superior finishes.

Finishing touches don’t just complete a home, they complete the vision. So you can be sure no luxury has been overlooked. You’ll find best-in-class design materials and finishes, including marble countertops, Poggenpohl cabinets and Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances. Large kitchen islands with breakfast bars.
