"Hear Us Roar" – Celebrating LGBTQ+ Voices and Art in New Hope, PA
This May, the streets of New Hope, PA, and Lambertville, NJ, will burst into a kaleidoscope of colors, music, and celebration as New Hope Celebrates presents its 21st Annual LGBTQ+ Pride Festival. From May 11th to 19th, 2024, the event themed "Hear Us Roar" aims to amplify LGBTQ+ voices and elevate queer art, making it a not-to-be-missed festival for community members and allies alike.

Lambertville / New Hope Pride Parade (May 18, 2024):
The centerpiece of PrideFest is the annual Pride Parade, which starts at 11:00 am in Lambertville, NJ, before crossing the iconic bridge into New Hope, PA. This rain-or-shine event attracts over 1,000 participants, including local and national marching bands, vibrant floats, and various nonprofit organizations. A highlight is New Hope Celebrates' iconic 100ft Rainbow Equality Flag, unfurled in eight brilliant colors, symbolizing the diversity and unity of the LGBTQ+ community. 🏳️🌈
New Hope Pride Fair (May 18, 2024):
After the parade, join the festivities at the New Hope Pride Fair, where local artists, retailers, food vendors, and LGBTQ+ owned businesses gather to celebrate the spirit of the community. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with local culture, purchase unique items, and enjoy a variety of culinary delights. Vendors interested in participating are encouraged to apply soon to be part of this vibrant celebration. 🎉
Following the Pride Parade, the fair will be held at the end of South Main Street in New Hope, PA at Pride Park in the American Legion parking lot, entrance on New Street.

Cocktail Contest (May 4th to 19th):
For those who enjoy a spirited celebration, the Cocktail Contest runs throughout the festival. Open to individuals 21 and older, this town-wide event features bars and restaurants competing to create the best Pride-themed cocktail.
